Thank you for all the wonderful comments Spencer. Being half way across the world, I tried my best for the short time I was there. Including the RAW files, I practically ate up a 200 Gig external hard drive =D However, I feel too many turned out too soft in focus, especially the landscape shots captured with my wide angle lens. I think it's because I used too small an aperture value with the camera comfortably resting on a tripod. In theory, this should provide for optimal crispness, but I vaguely remember another photographer advising against this because of a phenomenon called refraction, and actually undoing the intended effects of small aperture values.

At any rate, I didn't exactly have access to top notch imaging software during the trip, so I only realized this after coming back to Canada... Kind of frustrating, but I guess I'll know that much better for next time. And overall, it still was an amazing experience.

It can be frustrating to find out that your photos aren't exactly how you pictured them, but you took some great shots none the less. Seems to be quite the location and you got some terrific whether it seems. I've got who knows how many more in my inbox here =P Can't wait to check them all out. :D
