Phoenix Foliage - Exclusive HDR by somadjinn Phoenix Foliage - Exclusive HDR by somadjinn
Ancient tilted tombstone in Donegal Cemetery, Ireland. HDR composite from multiple exposures with targeted color processing to simulate a warm atmosphere. An open concept which could symbolize the lasting legacy our ancestors pass down to us, like a torch that always keeps burning in the very essence of our souls. That is my interpretation anyways, you are welcome to re-interpret the image for your own purposes :-)

Post-processed variant from a picture I took in Donegal Cemetery, Ireland: freestock.ca/buildings_landmar…

You can download the same image without watermark directly on my website for free stock photos: freestock.ca/ireland_g53-fiery…

This picture is also available for download at 5000 x 3333 px for a small premium of 50 points. Most everything else including my stock rules remain the same, except this premium download gives you access to a much larger version of the picture without watermark.

In the French revolution, the local peasants destroyed the church and my family's crypt, playing with the remains. How I hate the word "freedom"....

Sue, and I just refered to that event long gone a it was in the context of Napoleon. Thankfully, he took power. The French revolution was done by the wokless mob of Paris, and spead mostly by force and false promises. Like today in Libya: If Gadhaffi is gone, we will have all libety, wealth, deocracy, helicopters and 40 virgins. Same happened in France that time, while huge part of the population fought againt the Republic in the Bretagne, the Vendee and in the South; motly everywhere outside the Isle de France. These events are kept quiet in modern French history science, however we descendents are vey aware of how much damage was done to a nation and to a statial tradition 1000 years old... I doubt, too, that the presidents in line since Louis-Phillipe, the "Roi Citoyen" did add anything remarkable to France, except spreading a useless colonial empire, loosing that again, fighting useless wars and spent an enervingly huge amount of time on glorfying the "Grande Nation" witht he relics of monarchy o Napoleonic magnitude...
