Grungy POW MIA flag on vintage paper. POW MIA being short for Prisoners of War Missing in Action.

PERFECT. Do you mind if I use it as a website avatar for Disqus?

That's fine if you use it respectfully. Since you have Disqus, could you leave a comment on the same image hosted on my own website for free stock photos? [link] A short message will do, I just added disqus and would like to build up my feedback.

There was a time, not so long ago that you would see this flag everywhere! Businesses would fly it, sports arena's, in almost every neighborhood! But I rarely see it anymore! It's a shame really!

We have forgotten!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah it's unfortunate to see it faded from the spotlight. I think it was particularly popular in the 90s when the flag and organization behind it were officially recognized by the government, but as the years went by and into the new millenium, I guess the collective focus shifted elsewhere. Still a classic flag in my opinion, very poignant imagery, and with the increasing popularity of historical shows, movies, and documentaries, maybe this flag will see the light of day again.
