I also like the way you do the HDRs and it doesn't seem unnatural at all, it's simply beautiful :) I don't think HDR is bad, it's just a tool to capture even more of what we see. It is a little more complicated tool which is not so easiliy automated and that's why many people overdo it. But in the right hands it can do an amazing job :)

Thank you for such an insightful comment kabre :) I don't think HDR is bad either, but I see a lot of it being exaggerated. That's what I try to avoid in most cases. I like to use HDR to balance tones out so that it still looks natural, and I thank you for appreciating the result

I like your way of HDR: it does not seem, just simple good. Generally I do not like HDR-pics, I believe in the simple things but I have made couple recently... So you could find the balance! And I love Normande :D

Thank you very much :) I think over the last few years that HDR has been given a bad name because of how often it's been abused. But I try to use it in a more discreet way as it was originally intended: to capture more tonal details from lights and shadows so that the photo looks more like what I remember seeing in person instead of an explosion of oversaturated colours.

I like Normandy too :) It's a shame I was only able to spend a couple hours there (I was driving that day from Carnac)

When I had been there then the water was occuping the parking and we had walked almost from the village... I went early, around nince o'clock but when I left around midday then a heap of people came opposite of me. I think this is not that place where we can spend too long time. But maybe just I am a roadrunner. :)

Now I must go, bipp-bipp.
