Stylized variant from this photo of mine: [link]

A colour scheme I rarely ever use (especially pink), but I felt I had to go on a more positive note since my previous deviation revolved around heartbreak =p

It's so blindening pink yet so very rich in details...

Thanks for the feedback. I'm not usually accustomed to working with such a colour palette, but it was kind of my intention to make it look intense. Told myself if I was going pink, I might as well go all in by making it shocking pink =p Glad you noticed the details, with my macro lens I could not get everything in focus in one shot, so I had to merge a couple photos with different manual focus points.

That intense pink suits you well haha.
I always wondered how photographers made those detailed photos of the entire image, since the focus of the cameras I've used only focused on one depth if wanting more detail.
It was so simple, yet I couldn't figure out till now.

=p Not sure if all photographers use that trick because the macro lens I use is designed to force more shallow depth of field than other regular lenses (assuming both are using the same aperture). The problem with non-macro lenses however is that you cannot focus in as close, so the smaller the object is, the less you can fill your camera frame with the subject in question.

With something like a standard perfume bottle, it might be just at the limit of how close one can get with a standard non-macro lens (especially if there's no fancy pump like there is here occupying a distinct focal point). And the higher the megapixel count, the more one can afford to crop his picture down in case he wasn't able to fill the frame. But the smaller an objet gets, the more necessary a macro lens becomes.

That's why you might see a lot of pictures out of focus here on dA, especially in the crafts section where the objects are small in size. They don't quite know the limitations of their cameras and might not have a macro lens, so they do what they can, photograph their crafts up close, and the result is a blur. You'll find the same thing on websites likes ebay and etsy, it's not only limited to dA, and its kind of understandable. When you've spent so much time and effort specializing in one field of art like crafts, it's a pain having to start over with another field like photography.

I've always enjoyed macro photos, and I knew about the lenses a bit, but I thought it needed a steady hand as well, so I've blamed my wrist lots of times haha.
Thanks for giving some of your time to explaining me your knowledge :D
I totally appreciate it, and love to know a bit more. And a plus is you give understandable explanations, which aren't very common in the environment.

My pleasure, glad you understood the explanation. It's not always easy to explain when I get into more advanced photography, but I try my best anyways. I don't have a steady hand either by the way, that's why I use a tripod :)
