Golden Grunge Age Map - Exclusive Vintage Premade by somadjinn Golden Grunge Age Map - Exclusive Vintage Premade by somadjinn
Photomanipulation combining a public domain ancient map (circa 1689) along with texture 13 from Premium Pack V and texture 482.

Special thanks to Sascha / Sirius-sdz :iconsirius-sdz: for creating both textures =D

This picture is also available for download at 4000 x 3453 px for a small premium of 40 points. Most everything else including my stock rules remain the same, except this premium download gives you access to a much larger version of the picture without watermark.

Thank you Shelly :) I love vintage & ancient artwork, even with maps it seems they poured a lot more soul into it

You're very welcome! And I love how ancient maps look, whenever I see an old looking map in movies I always want it. :giggle: It takes a lot of talent to make a good looking map, whether it be real or fake. :) I love the colors used for this~ It reminds me of something I'd see in a movie! :D

Thanks again, half of the magic for me is breathing new life into old art :) I hope in turn it invites others to revisit the past with fresh enthusiasm instead of rolling their eyes at a school field trip to the local art museum

Been to a museum twice in my life and it was awesome both times~ And they weren't that big either.

Hehe I was one of those kids who would roll my eyes going on school field trips to art museums. Didn't give much serious thought about it until I was about 25, but something clicked once I stARTed :) Then a couple years ago I went with my mother and a friend to an art museum in DC and they had difficulty peeling me away from there!

:giggle: It's funny how people can completely change like that about stuff. :)
