Great Image.  I will be going there again to meet my father when he arrives with Honor Flight this summer.  The fact that it took so long to build a monument to these veterans is telling on many different levels, not the least of which is their own selflessness.

Your picture is fantastic too.  The light is really great.  I can't believe you didn't have the site shut down to get that shot, were there any people around?  I know at the Vietnam Memorial there are visitors at any given time day/night, or at least there used to be when I lived in DC maybe those vets are not around as much anymore either though.
