To the best of my knowledge, this mountain is called Croagh Patrick. Walked a few kilometres out of Westport (Ireland) to capture this shot.
In camera, it did not look all that great. To give you an idea, take a look at the slides I put together in my scraps:
[link]3 bracketed exposures at 0.5, 1/6, and 1.6 seconds. First thing, white balance was off, way too much of a blue cast, but luckily I always shoot RAW so I could easily fix this in the RAW PS interface.
Then I had exposure issues, no one image I felt could provide enough tonal range, so I merged the 3 and tweaked the colours further until I came up with this.
As with other recent pieces, this is still experimental for me because I am not quite used to shooting in almost fully overcast weather... I find it requires a lot more attention to detail in HDR processing, but at least it's a good learning experience, and I'm more than happy to share this piece as stock in the process

love what you got as the final result, specially the warm colors on the trees down
gotta fave it, that name calls for me haha
And yes I did just realize that this is a stock image and that cropping is not the most important thing to do
