Grungy flag of Brittany on vintage paper. Brittany being a region in France with a large number of its inhabitants proud of their Celtic lineage, where the flag is also known as Gwenn-ha-du in their Celtic tongue. Literally meaning "white and black", where I believe the current version of this flag, despite the ancient Celtic lineage, is partially inspired from the American design.

les 9 bandes représentent les neuf pays (les blanche pour les pays bretonnants et les noirs pour les pays gallo) les 11 hermines représentent 11 chapelles^^

^{Le nombre d'hermine n'a aucune signification. Car il s'agissait a la base d'un champs d'hermines plain qui a été simplifié. Il ne peut en outre s'agir de 11 chapelles, sachant qu'il en existe des centaines en Bretagne}
